Concept THREE. Become an inverse paranoid
A paranoid believes the world is contriving to do them harm. It isn’t. An inverse paranoid believes the world is contriving to do them good. And it is.
It may not always seem that way but it really is. Everything that has happened to you and indeed that you are currently experiencing was supposed to be that way.
Yes, even the really difficult stuff. The trick is to give such experience meaning. When you give the things that happen to you meaning you can learn from them and therefore grow from them. It stops you being the victim.
You see things aren’t good or bad, we add interpretation to make then this way. There is no reality, only perception. What I mean is the way we filter things, our underlying beliefs and emotional state we are in when we give things meaning changes everything.
If we can change the way we think about success, about fitness and about our capability it does indeed change our likelihood of success. We are all highly capable and can achieve anything we desire – our futures are very exciting.
A better future is coming. It really is. And what has gone before and what is occurring right now had to. These experiences have brought you to this point. Where you go from here, however, is down to you – you are in control. You are in control to begin to create the amazing life that lies before you as a fit, happy and healthy individual or indeed fitness professional.
All you have to do is believe, take absolute responsibility and decide on the action you need to take to start to make things happen.
